And I'm sitting there like WTF? I understand we throw around poorly made comics/parodies after a chapter to alleviate the sadness/pain we feel after a cannon/serious update, but spongegar is bottom of the barrel shitposting that's not clever in over half of his placements. Then a bunch of the people I follow saying "This is so funny!" "This is totally what I thought!" and "I love this meme!". I just woke up one day and bam, all over my dashes/walls is Spongegar in poorly shopped hair styles, in situations his reaction isn't "funny" or represents any of the emotions the character he's replacing properly. This meme has invaded the TG fandom (and other Anime/manga fandoms, but TG is the only one I say 100% up to date on) and it makes no sense in the context people are using them. Or as ready as I’d ever be.Your Spongegar memes make sense, because it's representative of confused/aggressive surprise. After listening to their setlist a couple of times, I decided on a few favorites: “Red Desert”, “Teeth”, “Disconnected”, and “BLENDER”. They have some pretty popular songs, like “She Looks So Perfect” or “Youngblood”, but in my opinion, some of their better songs are less well-known. Luke is the vocalist, Michael is the guitarist, Calum is the bassist, and Ashton is the drummer. For those who don’t know, 5 Seconds of Summer (5SOS) is a 4 person band. I quickly learned that 5SOS is pretty great, especially their music. I didn’t want to go and not know any songs whatsoever. Throughout the weeks leading up to the concert I was busy studying their music. It was an incredibly impromptu decision, but honestly? That made it so much better. My friend, the one who convinced me to go with her, she asked me to go about two weeks before the actual concert.

For example, I’d only ever heard a few 5SOS songs before I hadn’t been listening to them for a year, much less a decade. Some things were more accurate than others. Tuesday, we planned on going to the Grand Canyon extremely early, which meant taking it easy for the rest of the day so we could handle getting up. The rest of the day was mostly dedicated to wandering around downtown yet again. Carolyn, her roommate, Molly, and I all went out for coffee and stopped by Fractured Prune for some of the most delicious donuts. Dutch Bros Coffee, which I had never been to, was donating all profits towards the Second Chance animal shelter. Monday started, as did most of our days, with a stop for our caffeine fix. It was so hot and bright out but it was still cool to get to see, even with all the little tourist shops. Since it was still pretty early in the day, we decided to go to Sedona, where we had planned to go, but didn't have time to, when I was here in January. It's located in the mountains, all the restaurants we visited were good, and there were lots of places to amble. It doesn't take long to fall in love with Flagstaff, at least for me. Our second day, we went to downtown Flagstaff and wandered around all of the stores. Originating from an episode from 1999, the meme is supposed to mean.a return to your primal instincts? I still don't even understand it. Lastly, another meme that was dead before it started.

After I decided this was going in my article, I started saying it ironically so much that it's become unironic at this point.

It's so sad that this meme was ruined for me so quickly. For something so old, it should be nonexistent by now. I thought it was funny when I first saw it, but people just keep beating this dead horse. Maybe that's why looking at this annoys me so much.
SPONGEGAR MEME CREATOR SERIES
It's a reference to Lord of The Rings, but I hate that series so I've never watched it. This meme is as dead as RageComics and is from around the same origin and time period.
